Stachys byzantina 'Big Ears' (S. b. 'Helene von Stein')

Big Ears

The fuzzy, wooly-silver leaves are twice as big as the species and it rarely blooms. Forms a clump and quickly will grow to cover a 90cm(3') wide area. Low habit make it a great plant for the front of the border.

Lamb's Ear

Woolly textured, silvery-white tongue-shaped foliage. Flowers are purple spikes in July-August. Grown for foliage effect as a groundcover or in the border.

Ruffled green foliage and showy spikes of little ear-shaped rose-lavender flowers in July-August. Very nice, to try.
