Upright arching form, foliage is a medium width with a natural silver line (midrib). The outstanding characteristic is the burgundy/red inflorescences in late August. Excellent large flowers! Denis's says this is the most profuse blooming of any Miscanthus.

Fine blades with distinct variegation of green and white stripes give a silvery cast when viewed from a distance. The late season flowers emerge bronzy-red in color and turn cream as they age. M.'Morning Light' is a great plant for smaller gardens...really lovely!
