Adiantum pedatum Maidenhair Fern | | Fern. Fronds deciduous, on stalks 15-50cm high, usually about 25 cm. Leaflets (pinnules) 2-4cm wide. Hardy and easily grown in a cool, moist and shady position. Very nice and different! The rhizomes need to be covered by a layer of loose leaf mould, to be protected from the late frost. |
